A New Chapter in Aviation Education: AAAU and NCAT Sign Historic MOU

In a landmark event, the African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU) and the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic collaboration. The ceremony, held at NCAT’s office in Abuja, marked the beginning of a new era in aviation education.
The Registrar of AAAU, Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi, led the delegation and emphasized the importance of industrial experience for students. “As AAAU grows, we need to collaborate with institutions like NCAT to provide our Aviation Business students with hands-on experience,” he said.
The Director-General of NCAT, Joseph Imalighwe, warmly welcomed the AAAU team and expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. “This MOU opens doors for our students to gain invaluable industrial experience, preparing them for success in the aviation industry,” he noted.
The collaboration aims to provide AAAU students with access to NCAT’s state-of-the-art facilities and expertise, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
