NACCIMA, AfSNET Seek Stronger Partnership Ahead of 2026 Investment Conference

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Sixth African Sub-Sovereign Government Network (AfSNET), Investment Conference 2026 has sought the support and partnership of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), ahead of the continental investment gathering.
The LOC, led by its Chairman, Prof. Eyo Etim Nyong, made the request during a courtesy visit to the NACCIMA Corporate Office in Abuja, where the delegation met with the National President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, OON, mni.
The engagement focused on exploring areas of collaboration between AfSNET and NACCIMA, particularly the mobilisation of the Nigerian business community and other private-sector stakeholders for the conference.
The Sixth AfSNET Investment Conference 2026, organised by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), in collaboration with the Government of Cross River State and the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), is scheduled for November 12–14, 2026, at the Calabar International Convention Centre (CICC), Calabar, Cross River State.
The conference is themed “The Role of Sub-sovereigns in Catalysing Development through Trade and Investment.”
The gathering is expected to provide a platform for sub-national governments, investors, development finance institutions, businesses and other stakeholders to explore opportunities for trade, investment and economic development across Africa.
During the meeting, NACCIMA and the LOC agreed to collaborate towards the successful hosting of the conference.
NACCIMA also committed to mobilising its members and designating a focal person who will work closely with the LOC on preparations and stakeholder engagement for the event.
The partnership is expected to strengthen private-sector participation in the conference and enhance opportunities for businesses to connect with sub-national governments, investors and development partners from across the continent.
