Ikom Chamber President Congratulates Engr. Jani Ibrahim, on his victory as the FEWACCI President

The President of the Ikom Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (IKOMCCIMA), Mrs Flora Takim- Ndifon, has congratulated the President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, on his election as President of the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI).

Ibrahim emerged president following a keenly contested election, an outcome Takim described as a significant recognition of his leadership, strategic vision and commitment to private-sector development.

In her congratulatory message, the IKOMCCIMA President said Ibrahim’s emergence was not only a personal achievement but also an important milestone for Nigeria and the organised private sector.

She noted that his election would further strengthen Nigeria’s role in promoting commerce, investment and economic cooperation across the West African sub-region.

According to her, as President of FEWACCI, Ibrahim would have an important responsibility in deepening cooperation among chambers of commerce across West Africa, promoting regional economic integration and facilitating increased intra-regional trade.

She also expressed confidence that his experience would contribute to initiatives aimed at supporting enterprise growth, improving the business environment and creating opportunities for sustainable economic development and shared prosperity across the region.

Takim said Ibrahim’s emergence had further reinforced Nigeria’s prominent position within the West African business community, while creating an opportunity for stronger private-sector partnerships and deeper economic collaboration among countries in the sub-region.

She congratulated the NACCIMA President on the new responsibility and expressed optimism that his tenure would contribute to advancing the objectives of FEWACCI and strengthening the voice of chambers of commerce, and the organised private sector across West Africa.
