Tsoken Celebrates APC Chairman Yilwatda at 58, Hails Leadership, Unity

National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027 and National President of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG), Ambassador Musa Muhammed Tsoken, has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on his 58th birthday.
In a goodwill message marking Yilwatda’s birthday, Tsoken described the APC chairman as a “visionary leader and shelter of renewed hope,” commending his leadership and contributions to the stability and growth of the ruling party.
Tsoken said Yilwatda’s leadership had provided renewed direction and purpose to the APC, describing him as “a statesman, an academic icon, and a bridge-builder” whose leadership continues to strengthen the party.
“Today, we celebrate not just a birthday, but the life of a statesman, an academic icon, and a bridge-builder whose leadership continues to give direction and stability to our great party,” he said.
According to him, Yilwatda has become a rallying point for millions of APC members across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory who believe in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He described the APC chairman as “the umbrella that shelters the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” noting that the party under his stewardship had gained renewed strength, unity and purpose.
Tsoken further commended Yilwatda’s “calm disposition, intellectual depth, and commitment to internal democracy,” saying these qualities had contributed to re-energising the APC and positioning it to deliver on the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
While praying for the APC chairman’s continued success, Tsoken outlined what he described as a four-point “Renewed Agenda” for Yilwatda’s new age.
These include long life and sound health, greater wisdom to lead, strength to sustain the gains of the APC, and victory for the party in the 2027 general elections and beyond.
“I join millions of Nigerians to pray that the Almighty God grants you long life and sound health, greater wisdom to lead, strength to sustain the gains of our party, and victory for APC in 2027 and beyond,” he said.
Tsoken wished Yilwatda greater impact in the coming years, particularly in strengthening the APC and supporting the administration of President Tinubu.
“May your new age usher in greater impact for the APC, for President Tinubu’s administration, and for Nigeria,” he said.
He concluded the message with a renewed expression of confidence in the ruling party, declaring: “APC will win! Nigeria will be renewed!”
Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, born August 8, 1968, in Dungung, Plateau State, is an engineer, professor and politician. He served as INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Benue State, contested Plateau governorship in 2023, and later became Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction. He is currently National Chairman of the APC.
