Nigeria Diaspora Day Celebration: Back-to-Back Events Reflect Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s Commitment to Engaging Nigerians Abroad

The series of activities marking the 2026 Nigeria Diaspora Day celebration has once again underscored the unwavering commitment of the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, to strengthening the relationship between Nigeria and its citizens living abroad.
Rather than limiting the celebration to a ceremonial event, the back-to-back programmes demonstrated a deliberate strategy to deepen engagement with the Nigerian diaspora, celebrate their achievements, and harness their expertise, investments, and global networks for national development.
