SGF George Akume Reaffirms Support for Tinubu’s Second-Term Bid in 2027

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation in Nigeria, George Akume, has reaffirmed his strong support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in the 2027 general elections. The declaration reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen unity within the APC and sustain the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.
The statement was made public by Amb. Musa Mohammed Tsoken, National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027. According to him, Senator George Akume expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and his administration’s commitment to national development.
Amb. Musa Mohammed Tsoken noted that the Tinubu-led government has continued to implement policies aimed at improving the economy, enhancing security, and delivering democratic dividends to Nigerians. He added that the support from key political figures demonstrates growing confidence in the President’s vision for the nation.
He further stated that the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027 will continue mobilizing support, especially among youths and grassroots supporters, to ensure the success of President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
