NACCIMA President Highlights Investment Opportunities at West Africa Automotive Show 2026

The National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Engr. Jani Ibrahim, attended the closing ceremony of the West Africa Automotive Show (WAAS) 2026, Africa’s largest automotive exhibition and conference, held at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

The exhibition brought together local and international suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and key stakeholders across the automotive industry, creating strong prospects for strategic partnerships and business expansion within Nigeria and across the West African region.

Industry leaders at the event noted that the exhibition opened new opportunities for innovative automotive products and services, while strengthening collaboration among players in the automotive value chain.

Among the major highlights of the exhibition was the participation of LUBCON Group, one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous lubricant companies, which collaborated with VMPAUTO to showcase the advanced nano-technology engine solution known as RESURS.

The RESURS engine treatment technology is designed to improve engine performance, extend engine lifespan, and provide enhanced maintenance solutions for vehicle owners nationwide.
Stakeholders at the exhibition described the event as a significant platform for driving innovation, attracting investment, and promoting industrial growth within Africa’s rapidly expanding automotive sector.
