Eid-el-Fitr: NYSC DG Urges Corps Members to Uphold Values of Service and Unity

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has called on corps members and staff across the country to embody the virtues of sacrifice, gratitude, peace, and compassion as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.
In a goodwill message released to mark the end of Ramadan, the NYSC leadership emphasized that the significance of Eid-el-Fitr aligns with the core ideals of the scheme, urging members to reflect these values in their daily conduct and service to the nation.

The statement encouraged corps members to remain committed to promoting national unity, selfless service, and mutual respect, regardless of ethnic, religious, or cultural differences. It noted that such collective dedication is vital in building a peaceful, cohesive, and prosperous Nigeria.
The NYSC further expressed hope that the festive season would bring renewed strength, joy, and fulfillment to all personnel in their continued service to the country.

“Let us remain steadfast in our commitment to national unity and service. Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve,” the message stated, extending warm Eid greetings to the NYSC community nationwide.
