MISR Insurance Company Egpt Visits NACCIMA Lagos Secretariat

The NACCIMA Secretariat received a 3-man Egyptian delegation on Wednesday, 18th February, 2026.
The delegation was led by the Commercial Counsellor of Egypt Embassy, Osama Mohl El Din. He was accompanied by the Chief Executive of MISR Insurance Company, Muhammed Mahran and the Assistant CEO, Ahmed El Kamhawy. Also joining the meeting was Chief Akosile, National Officer and Chairman, MSME Committee.
Mr. Mahran noted that the visit was part of his company’s efforts to explore Nigerian markets as well as support businesses within the insurance sector.
The Director General gave a background on NACCIMA’s activities and highlighted the Association as a credible interface/platform for partnerships and alliances – local and international.
Buttressing the DG’s remarks, Chief Kola Akosile indicated the need to develop financial products for SMEs in Nigeria in the areas of Credit Insurance Scheme.
Other key areas of interest were identified as Mining and Oil & Gas.
Other Insurance sector member companies represented, based on earlier notification by the Secretariat to members, included Mr. Abiodun Olawole-Cole of Colenson Brokers who suggested that, aside from Egyptian companies handling high risk investments in Nigeria, it would also be appreciated if MISR Insurance Company could run a Master-Class training for NACCIMA members within the Insurance sector. Another corporate member represented was Capital Field Assets with the Managing Director, Ugo Nnodi in attendance, etc.
The meeting ended with exchange of courtesies and group photograph.
