Nigeria Volley Ball Federation Tournament Ends With Super Wins By CNS Spikers Club

The Nigeria Volley Ball Federation (NVBF), tournament, which started on Monday, 2nd February at the indoor hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, with 12 clubs competing in the men’s and women’s categories, making another successful editionp of Nigeria’s premier volleyball competition ends on Saturday 7th of February 2026.
The leadership of National Sports Commission (NSC), celebrate the achievement of our athletes in the recently concluded NVBF Super Cup which brought CNS Spikers Volleyball Club as the overall winner, after a convincing 3-1 victory over the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in the men’s final on Saturday in Abuja.
“As a leading authority in Nigerian sports, we take immense pride in the determination and hard work of our teams, and we are thrilled to share the success of our athletes with you.” Leadership said.
The leadership of NSC stated that the winners have proved their mettle on the court, their hard work, and grit, and we couldn’t be happier for them. We would like to extend our heart-felt congratulations to the winners and all participating teams for their outstanding performances. As we celebrate the success of our athletes, we would also like to acknowledge the role of the NVBF and the organisers of the competition. It takes a collaborative effort to bring such an incredible event to life, and we are grateful for their dedication and commitment to promoting volleyball in Nigeria.
The leadership recognises the show of hard work, determination, and the never give up attitude of the CNS Spikers men’s Volleyball Club. Anything is possible. And so, we are confident that this is just the beginning for them and praying that they continue to bring glory to our nation in the future.
In the words of our legendary basketball player, Michelle Jordan. “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.” In NSC, leadership strongly believes in the power of teamwork and the importance of celebrating each other’s success. We also celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie that this event has fostered.
Speaking after the match, Sub-Lieutenant Seiyefa Dikiyai, Captain of the CNS Spikers men’s volleyball team, praised the chief of Naval Staff for his unwavering support and commitment to the team’s preparation. He said, “This is the result of proper preparation, and I must Commend the Chief of Naval Staff for all his input and encouragement.” He added. ” His support has been massive and progressive, that has motivated us throughout the process, he made sure we were camped for proper preparations.”
Looking ahead, the CNS Spikers captain emphasised the need for greater preparations ahead of continental competition because when we face the North Africans, they are technically stronger, he added. He promised to give in their best to improve at that level so they can match up with them competitively.
The President of Nigeriab Volleyball Federation Musa Nimrod at the end of the match, praised the clubs for their resilience and efforts put in to make this year’s event a success.
