NSCDC Nasarawa State Commandant Pays Courtesy Visit to Zonal Commandant, ACG Zone 1

 

The newly deployed Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, Commandant Brah Samson Umoru has paid a courtesy visit to the Assistant Commandant General (ACG) UA Udo, at the Zone 16 headquarters in Lafia the Nasarawa State Capital, shortly after assuming duty as the 11th substantive Commandant of the Nasarawa State Command.

During the visit, Commandant Brah reaffirmed his commitment to uphold the Corps’ mandate of protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, ensuring peace and security, and fostering closer collaboration with sister agencies and stakeholders within the zone.

He expressed gratitude to the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for finding him worthy of the appointment, while assuring that he would justify the confidence reposed in him through effective leadership, discipline, and professionalism.

In his remarks, the Zonal Commander, ACG AU Udo, congratulated Commandant Brah on his new assignment, urging him to use his wealth of experience sustain the tempo of operational excellence, intensify community engagement, and work tirelessly to strengthen the fight against criminality across Nasarawa State.

The visit also featured discussions on strategies to tackle vandalism of public infrastructure, enhance intelligence gathering, and improve synergy between the State Command and the Zonal Headquarters.

With this visit, Commandant Brah Samson Umoru_ officially begins his tour of duty as the 11th substantive State Commandant of the NSCDC in Nasarawa State, promising to deliver on the Corps’ core mandate of securing the lives and property of Nigerians.
