Senators Alkali, Kyari Offer Sympathy to Colleague Over Father’s Passing

Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, and Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, paid a heartfelt condolence visit to their colleague, Senator Sabi Abdullahi, in New Bussa, Niger State, on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The purpose of their visit was to offer support and sympathy following the passing of Senator Abdullahi’s father.
Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly received by the esteemed Emir of Borgu, Dr. Muhammad Halliru Dantoro, and the deceased’s family. The ministers and the emir joined in solemn prayers, seeking peace and solace for the departed soul. Recognizing the inevitability of death, they prayed to Allah to grant the family strength and resilience during this difficult time.
This gesture of solidarity demonstrates the deep respect and camaraderie among Nigeria’s ministers. Senator Abubakar Kyari, in particular, brings a wealth of experience to his role, having previously served as senator for Borno North Senatorial District from 2015 to 2022 and briefly as acting national chairman of the All Progressives Congress in 2023 .
