Tuggar receives 20 Scholarship grants from ESMT, for Nigerian students to study in Germany

It was a night to remember in Berlin, Germany, as Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, accepted a generous scholarship offer from Lars Windhorst, a renowned German entrepreneur. The scholarship, valued at twenty grants, would enable Nigerian students to pursue their academic dreams at the prestigious European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin.
As Amb. Tuggar accepted the offer, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Windhorst, acknowledging the significance of this opportunity for Nigerian students. “This scholarship will create a pathway for our young minds to excel in their chosen fields, and we are truly thankful for your kindness,” he said.
The exclusive dinner, held at the China Club in Berlin, was attended by prominent leaders from both the private and public sectors, including Jörg Rocholl, President of ESMT Berlin. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as the guests celebrated this remarkable gesture of goodwill.
For the twenty Nigerian students who would benefit from this scholarship, it marked the beginning of an incredible journey. They would have the chance to study at one of Europe’s top business schools, gaining valuable knowledge and skills that would equip them to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
The Minister said that qualified Nigerian students will benefit from the scholarship opportunity which he said would contribute significantly to the development of the knowledge and skills of the beneficiaries needed for Nigeria’s development drive.
