Otu sets up panel to review Civil Service Rules

The Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Sen. Bassey Otu, has approved the constitution of a 21-man committee to review the State’s Public/Civil Service Rules.
According to a press statement by Nsa Gill, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on Wednesday, 17th April, the 21-member committee is given 90 days to carry out its assignment from the date of the inaugural meeting.
The following are the members of the Panel:
1. Ededem C. Ani, Esq. (Attorney-General & Commissioner for Justice) – Legal Adviser
2. Dr Innocent Eteng (Head of Service) – Chairman
3. Mrs Rosemary Obanya (Former Head of Service) – Alternate Chairman
4. Peter A. Bassey, Esq. (Solicitor-General & Permanent Secretary) – Member
5. Mr Emmanuel Egban (Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission) – Member
6. Dr (Mrs) Atim Ekpenyong (Permanent Secretary Public Service Matters) – Member
7. Mr Enang Obeten (Director of Administration, Head of Service Office) – Member
8. Dr Sampson Ogar (Retired Permanent Secretary) – Member

“Committee members are expected to report to the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) for further directives,” the statement added.
