British High Commissioner to Nigeria visits NiDCOM

Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), received Dr Richard Montgomery CMG, British High Commissioner to Nigeria and the UK Permanent Representative to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), on a courtesy visit to NiDCOM Headquarters.

Discussions centred on setting up a Diaspora Dialogue amongst other things.

NiDCOM boss calls for the participation of Common Wealth Countries during the National Diaspora Day.

She also noted that migration cannot be stopped, but government, we would create an enabling environment.

According to her, “Nigeria and the UK government should have an MOU on how people migrate.

The courtesy visit reflects our enduring ties and the shared values that unites us.”
