Otu appoints Odey Media aide, Okon as Press Secretary

The Cross River State Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Bassey Edet Otu as appointed Imani Odey as Special Assistant, Electronic Media.

This was contained in a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. A. Owan Enoh and made known to the public on Monday, June 19, 2023.

It also states that the appointment is to take place with immediate effect.

Until her appointment, Odey served under erstwhile government of Sen. Ben Ayade as Special Adviser, Electronic Media and Senior Special Assistant, Electronic Media.

Sen. Otu also appointed Faith Okon as the Chief Press Secretary to the Office of the First Lady, Pst Eyoanwan Otu.

Until the appointment, she was the Assistant Head of Presentation, Cross River Broadcasting Corporation- the State owned media house.

The appointees are all advised to proceed to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government for proper briefing and documentation.
