CRS will be a tourism hub and a money spinner- Tinubu

The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu says if voted into power, he will make Cross River State actualize her goal of being a tourism destination of the country.
Tinubu stated this during his Presidential Campaign Rally in Cross River State on January 31, 2023.
He criticized the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for running the country down in their 16 years of maladministration by entrenching corruption, money laundering and bad policies.
“When I became the Governor of Lagos State, we set out to make the State a money spinner and a go-to place for opportunities. And through appointment of erudite minds, we transformed the State to the biggest economy in West Africa.
I intend to do same for Nigeria. I am a promise keeper and we have set forward sixteen economic plans to make Nigeria the best economy in Africa.”
He appreciated the of Cross River State, His Excellency, Sen Prof Ben Ayade for being”a visionary Leader” who saw the rot in the PDP and decided to join the APC thereby carrying the State from “darkness into light.”
Earlier, Prof Ayade said that Tinubu is not coming for a Campaign but to celebrate his already established victory come February 25, 2023 as the State is “sold out to the APC during the General Elections.”
He also said that the State has only two demands: the functionality of the Deep Sea Port in Bakassi and the completion of the Super Highway Project which will see the State being linked with the Northern Region of the country thereby leading to prosperity in the State.
In his own remark, the State Chairman of the APC, Barr Alphonsus Eba said the massive turnout of Cross Riverians is a testament of the guaranteed success of the Party during the Polls and then congratulated Tinubu for his success.
The National Women Leader of the APC, Dr. Berta Edu welcomed Bola Ahmed Tinubu into the State and said that victory is sure un the Polls and the State will deliver all the APC Candidate “from top to bottom.”
The event had Party dignitaries and Candidates of every position in the State.
