Prince Adebayo promises to tackle unemployment

The Presidential hopeful of the social Democratic Party SDP Prince Adewole Adebayo has reiterated his desire to tackle unemployment by creating 30million gainful jobs if elected as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023.

This he made known when he was a guest speaker at the National Black Chamber of Commerce, NBCC, international round table discussion held in Washington DC at Swahili Village.

Adebayo said he will use the teeming population of the youths to create enabling environment that will create in sctors like agriculture, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), green tech, tourism, and infrastructure.

The conference that also had in attendance stakeholders represented by a broad spectrum of companies, countries community and business leaders like Emad Shoeb, Chiet Operating Officer (C.O.O)of Swahili Village.

The SDP Candidate said in order to achieve this, he will to partner with the NBCC International Committee’s Global Business Initiative .

Speaking in his participation in the annual conference, Adebayo said the knowledge gained there will help him detail his plans properly and liaise with international corporate bodies and investors who will love to invest in the country

In the first quarter of 2021, a report published by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on its website noted that Nigeria’s Unemployment Rate has risen from 27.1 per cent in the second quarter of 2020, to 33 per cent.
