NiDCOM Boss, Hon Abike Dabiri- Erewa has revealed that the forthcoming Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit (NDIS), will focus on Health Care
Education, Agri business, Creative
Entertainment & Sports, Telecommunication, ICT/Fintec, Manufacturing and Real Estate.
Hon Abike stated this in a press conference held today at Abuja to brief the media on the preparations and readiness of stakeholders of the upcoming 3rd Annual Diaspora Investment Summit which is scheduled to hold on the 20th and 21st of November, 2020.According to her, “The summit is aimed at creating an avenue for prospective, meaningful and sustainable Diaspora Investment to be relied upon to boost economic growth in Nigeria. It will showcase the Investment opportunities and developmental framework put in place to make Investment in Nigeria more attractive Nigeria Diaspora Investors.”
She said the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria H.E. Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo, GCON a keynote speaker and will declare the summit open, with the theme, “Post Covid-19 Economic Resurgence: TARGETING DIASPORA INVESTMENT”.
Speaking, the Chairperson, Nigerian Diaspora Summit Initiative, (NDSI), Dr. Badewa Adejugbe- Williams noted that there is no better time for the summit than now as it will attract investors to the country and this trial moment that the nation needs to focus on the social and economic imperatives of our country.
3000 participants, investors and guest speakers are expected to join the summit.
