2019: NYSC sensitizes corps members in Ogun State

As the 2019 elections get close, coupled with the engagement of youth corps members as ad hoc staff of INEC, the The State Coordinator of the Nigerian Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Ogun State, Mrs J .U Bakare has embarked on a sensitization Tour to the four NYSC zonal offices in the state; Ijebu- ode ,Sagamu , Abeokuta and Otta.
According to the statement made available to News Dot Africa, the tour was to enlighten and advice Corps members on the need to be responsible during the forthcoming 2019 elections.
Mrs Bakare enjoined the corps members to live up to their INEC responsibilities in the forthcoming 2019 general Elections. She also charged the corps members to be diligent and impartial in the discharge of their services so as to uphold the image of the scheme.
She advised them to take their individual Security seriously and avoid presenting themselves in vulnerable circumstances during the period. While encouraging them to be serious and make themselves available for the INEC training coming up on January 29th-31st , she however dissuaded pregnant and nursing mothers, from participating as ad-hoc staff during the Elections.
The state coordinator, prayed for the corps members and wished them success in the exercise.
